This policy explains what Camtech does with personal data collected through this website. It is written to describe how the site actually works rather than to cover every possibility, and it is short because the site collects very little.
This website is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and stores nothing in your browser. You can read every page without providing any personal data.
The only personal data the site collects is what you type into the contact form and send to us: your name, email address, company, and the content of your message. Submitting that form is entirely voluntary.
We use the details you send to respond to your enquiry, to prepare quotations, and to provide technical support. Where you ask about a product or solution, we may keep a record of the exchange so that future support requests have context.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Enquiries are handled by our own staff. Where an enquiry concerns a manufacturer's product and cannot be resolved without them, we may share the technical details necessary to get you an answer.
This site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes the standard connection information any web server receives — including your IP address — in order to serve pages and protect the service. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's own terms.
When you send the contact form, two further services are involved. Cloudflare Turnstile runs a check that distinguishes people from automated submissions, and Resend delivers the resulting email to us. Both receive what that check and that delivery require — for Turnstile, your IP address and a token; for Resend, the contents of your enquiry and the address you gave us. Neither is used to advertise to you, and each processes the data under its own terms.
Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as needed to serve the commercial relationship and to meet record-keeping obligations, then deleted. If you would like your enquiry removed sooner, ask us and we will do it.
Under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, limit how we process it, or withdraw a consent you previously gave.
To make any of these requests, write to info@camtech.my. We will respond within the period the Act allows.
The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry correspondence is held in business systems with access limited to staff who need it. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If this policy changes materially, the revised version will be published here with a new date. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the revision.
